Graduating Students
Preparing the thesis at the Free Academy of Fine Arts in Rimini is a enriching and stimulating experience for students. During this journey, students work closely with a supervising faculty member, receiving personalized support and guidance in delving into their research topic. Through research, artistic experimentation, and critical reflection, students develop an original and meaningful thesis that represents the culmination of their academic studies and the foundation for their future artistic career.
What do I need to do to graduate?
GRADUATION THESIS – June 2023
Students intending to defend their graduation thesis in the June 2023 session must submit via email to didattica@labarimini.com, by April 14, 2023, the thesis request form signed by the supervisor and co-supervisor (if applicable) and attach a copy of the exam record with the exams completed and a list of exams yet to be taken.
The draft of the thesis must be submitted to the academic office by May 29, 2023.
Cover page and printing instructions for the thesis
The cover page for the graduation thesis is the initial page that contains essential information about the work, such as the thesis title, the author’s name, the name of the university or academic institution, the degree course, and the academic year. It is important to follow the guidelines provided by the academic office regarding the layout and format of the cover page, as stated in the Communication Plan.
Graduated Students
Graduating from LABA Rimini represents a significant academic achievement in the field of visual arts. Students will have gained a strong artistic foundation and in-depth knowledge of various artistic disciplines. This will open up various opportunities in the job market, such as independent artists, graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, and much more. They can work in design studios, creative agencies, art galleries, cultural institutions, or pursue personal projects. The degree provides a solid foundation for an artistic career and the opportunity to express creativity in meaningful and professional ways.
Request for Graduation Certificate
While waiting to receive the Graduation Diploma, graduated students can request a Graduation Certificate. The document serves as a substitute certification for the Diploma, issued by the Academy, and includes information about the completed exams and the final grade.
To request a Graduation Certificate, the graduate must contact the Academic Office via email at didattica@labarimini.com. For the pickup, a stamp duty of €16.00 is required, and the certificate can be collected at the Academic Office by appointment.
Processing time after the request: 2 weeks. Certificates cannot be sent by mail according to the regulations.
Request for Graduation Diploma
For the Graduation Diploma, it is necessary to fill out the request form, which can be downloaded from the link below, and pay the postal bulletin as indicated in the form.
Once the postal bulletin is paid, we kindly ask you to send us the payment receipt along with the completed form via email.
Please note that the processing time for the issuance of the diploma is lengthy. Once the request is submitted, you will be placed on a waiting list and contacted by the Academy for the pickup of the Diploma.
Diplomas cannot be mailed; they must be collected in person at the Academic Office, and a stamp duty of €16.00 is required.
In case of inability to personally come to the Academy, the graduate can send someone with a delegation letter and a photocopy of the identity document.
