FAQs
LABA Rimini is an Accredited AFAM Institute (High Artistic and Musical Education). Therefore, it is authorized by the ministry to issue the Academic Diploma of First Level (for courses in Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design & Multimedia, Photography and Cinema, Photography and Audiovisual), equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree, and the Academic Diploma of Second Level in Fashion Design, equivalent to a Master’s degree.
It is necessary to possess any secondary education diploma (high school diploma, technical institute diploma, vocational institute diploma).
No, there is no entrance exam. An entrance test is conducted to assess the incoming students’ skills, which takes place approximately ten days before the start of the academic year.
No, our classes are held in person only.
Yes, in order to be admitted to the midterm exam for a course, it is necessary to have attended at least 60% of the respective course
For working students, there is a reduced attendance requirement of 50% for individual courses. Therefore, it is necessary to have a work activity that allows for some flexibility to reach the minimum attendance percentage for all subjects. In this case, it is recommended to have a consultation with the Academic Secretary at the beginning of the Academic Year.
Certainly. Contact our Student Academic Office, providing a certificate of the exams taken along with their credits and artistic or scientific disciplinary sector codes. We will assess the possibility of recognizing incoming credits from your previous path.
Yes, it is possible, subject to the signing of specific agreements with host organizations. In the Job Placement section of the Student Area of our website, we publish internship offers received from interested companies. Regarding the internship period, there is no minimum or maximum mandatory hours, as it is not an activity included in the Study Plan for credit recognition purposes. Typically, internships last from three weeks up to a maximum of two months, considering that they must be carried out during breaks in educational activities, either during the suspension period between the first and second semesters or between June and October. At the end of the internship, a certificate of internship is issued.
In the Orientation section of our website, the schedule of in-person Open Days is available, during which you can visit our campus.
Our Academy does not provide exemptions or discounts on tuition fees based on income/merit. However, our enrolled students can apply for study grants through specific calls for applications, provided by Er.Go, the Regional Agency for the Right to Higher Education of the Emilia-Romagna Region. All information can be found on the ER.GO website: Home page (er-go.it)
Certainly, the Academic Diploma of First Level obtained at LABA Rimini allows enrollment in specialist two-year programs or First Level Master’s programs at any Academy or University (subject to credit recognition).
